In order to help microlight aircraft owners take advantage of both the increased safety and payload benefits of the new 472.5Kg weight limit for aircraft fitted with a rescue system, we are now UK dealers for Galaxy GRS

 

Type GRS 6 above is fully approved for the IKARUS C42 and similar aircraft in Germany and currently undergoing BMAA approval for the C42 in the UK which also allows a max weight increase to 472.5 Kg,

Apart from the safety benefit and reassurance given by the fastest and most reliable rescue system for any low level emergencies over inhospitable terrain, another benefit is that as the Galaxy system only weighs 10.8 Kg. This gives a increase of ~12.0Kg in the useful load i.e. more fuel or heavier passengers that can be carried on take off compared to a non-rescue system equipped 450Kg microlight

Many other types are available to suit most aircraft from single seat deregulated, flexwing, LSA and up to 1,300kg 4 seat aircraft.
